Welcome to the Airport Flying Club web site. We are a non-profit, non-commercial flying club based at Weston airport, Leixlip. We were formed in 1975 and based at Dublin airport until October 2008 when General Aviation ceased to exist at that location.

We have about 25 members, 2 part time volunteer instructors and operate a Cessna 172 aircraft, G-JONZ. Availability of the aircraft is very good and members may book their own flight slots via our internet booking system.

The aircraft is well equipped and members enjoy both local flights and cross country touring including flights to various European countries.

Airport Flying Club currently operates a Cessna 172 at the cheapest rates available at Weston Airport. Check our Rates section for details and additional discounts

The Airport Flying Club can only accept new members that hold a current valid PPL. Please contact us for more information.
